Our Fleet

Our vehicles, together with dimensions of their load areas and details of their payloads are shown below. Experience has shown that vehicles for General Light Haulage need to offer flexible loading options to cater for most eventualities and be very reliable over prolonged usage. For reliability reasons we run Mercedes-Benz vehicles which we feel offer the utmost in reliability, and we have vehicles which offer the maximum flexibility for loading. All of the vehicles have deck and body mounted load lashing points, and carry suitable securing straps and ropes to ensure safe transport of your goods to their destination without damage. We pride ourselves on our professional approach to the safe transport of your goods.

In addition to our Goods-In-Transit Insurance, to ensure security of our vehicles and goods which need to be loaded the day before delivery, our vehicles are kept at a secure premises with CCTV and security guards on duty 24hrs a day 365 days a year. All vehicles are sign-written in our familiar livery.

Mercedes Vito 

		For smaller and lighter consignments a Mercedes Vito is offered, combining reliability with good loading options and access for a vehicle of this type:

Mercedes Sprinter 

For larger and heavier consignments a Mercedes Sprinter with Curtain-Side body with rear “Barn Doors” and a sliding roof, to facilitate loading by gantry cranes is offered, combining reliability with exceptional loading options and access for a vehicle of this type. This vehicle also contains a drivers sleeper compartment for long distances. We have recently replaced some vehicles with this to provide greater flexibility for our customers:

In addition to the above to further increase payload and load volume, we also have a trailer, with an identical body to the Sprinter shown above. For additional flexibility, the trailer can be attached to either the Sprinter or Vito, but please note that this varies the permissible payload on the trailer.
